So, Monday crept up on me again.
Two three-day weekends in a row is a good thing...and a bad thing. I am now wondering how I can make that happen on a weekly basis. Friday, we had a surprise day at home (I would say "off,"but I worked for most of it) due to some very cold temperatures here in Austin. Ice on the ground freaks people out around here, and my office downtown was closed for the day. We spent all day in our pjs, and it was glorious. Saturday and Sunday, however, provided us with bright sunshine . . .

With everything going on in my little world -- the flood remodel, my amazing full time job, the little (and the big) man at home -- I have decided to close Fig + Cotton's Etsy store for now. I refuse to say that it won't open back up at some point, but I needed to cut something out, and sadly, the store was the best thing to go. Happy FREEZING COLD Monday! It has now been five long weeks since our home was hit by the devastating flash flood on Halloween morning. Along with all of the heartache, stress, and hard decisions, I am doing my very best to focus on the silver lining: an entire home remodel!
