Two three-day weekends in a row is a good thing…and a bad thing. I am now wondering how I can make that happen on a weekly basis.
Friday, we had a surprise day at home (I would say “off,”but I worked for most of it) due to some very cold temperatures here in Austin. Ice on the ground freaks people out around here, and my office downtown was closed for the day. We spent all day in our pjs, and it was glorious.
Saturday and Sunday, however, provided us with bright sunshine and crisp temperatures. We cooked a lot and played a lot over the weekend.
Here are a few pictures I snapped of Rex yesterday. These have confirmed my suspicions that he is in dire need of a trim. His daddy and I have a hard time getting those blonde locks cut, but the proof is in the pictures.
