Two weeks ago, I set out a no-fail weekly plan for family meal planning. You can get all the details here, but below you will find my Field Guide for stress-free meal planning along with this weeks menu!
Sunday: Grilled steaks (or if it is too cold, use this method for cooking them indoors), Creamy Potato Gratin, and simple Sauteed Green Beans.
Your Sunday meal can be the one that is a bit more involved. Not only do you have more time, you can make more food for leftovers to munch on during the week if one of your days doesn’t go as planned.
Monday: Slow Cooker Beef Ragu. This is perfect for sloppy delicious sandwiches. Serve with baked sweet potato fries, and you will be a Monday night hero.
Mondays are rough. Do yourself a favor and make Mondays your regular slow cooker night.
Tuesday: Taco Tuesday. Do your kids a favor and serve easy skillet tacos with ground beef, chicken or turkey.
Wednesday: Chicken Pot Pie. Nothing is better on a cold fall day than chicken pot pie. This is a great chance to save time by using a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken and pre-made pie crust.

Thursday: Roasted chicken, baked potatoes, and Caprese Panzanella Salad. This is where pre-marinated meat comes in handy. Most supermarkets carry some great options you can easily throw in the oven when you get home.
Friday: Your night to go out or order in.
Saturday: Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry (unless you ordered in Asian food Friday night!). This is a great recipe for making healthy and flavorful stir fry at home.
I hope these meal plans are helping you with “the stress of the family meal.” I would love to hear any comments or suggestions on these posts!
Enjoy!
