With Halloween is just over a week away, and we are getting excited around the Hodges house. I have tried and tried to sway Rex into being a fireman…but he is not having it. He wants to be a ninja, or “inja,” if you ask him. I keep assuming he is going to forget that he wants to be a ninja, but he that is his constant answer if asked the question, “what do you want to be for Halloween?”
So, this weekend, Mat and I will be on the hunt for a “inja” costume…for all three of us. See, our dear friends (the ones who hosted the Rex + Cilla Kay nautical birthday extravaganza) host a “Halloween Spooktackular” for the families in our supper club. I have loved seeing the kids together all dressed up in their Halloween costumes every year, and this one will be especially fun since Rex is really “getting” the whole dress up thing. Well, the whole family must dress up — hostess’ orders. So, like I said, the Hodges will be “injas” this year.
