Rex’s Puppy 2nd Birthday!

My sweet baby boy turned two last week. I have no idea where the time goes. We definitely celebrated his second year, with two of his favorite things…dogs and balloons. We served hot dogs, panzanella salad, potato chips, fruit salad, and Whataburger french fries. All of Rex’s favorites (well, minus the panzanella…)!

We didn’t go overboard on decor, but we had plenty of fun paper goodies hanging around.

I am usually against plastic flatware, but for this party, it just made sense.
I wrapped them up in pretty napkins and red and white ribbon.

All of the kids in our lives love french fries, so when I found these mini popcorn boxes in the red and white stripe, I knew exactly what we would use them for.

A little juice for the kids and a little wine for the moms.

The cookies were a special splurge, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how they turned out!

I made all the cupcakes, but I think they turned out pretty well!

I also purchased some red plastic fast food baskets to use instead of plates.
We opted not to set up a bunch of tables and chairs for the adults,
so I knew these would be perfect and spill-proof.

I quick break in the rain! See the balloons…
he would carry a bouquet around with him at all times if I would let him.

If you need a quick and easy way to wrap your kids tables, use wrapping paper!
It was perfect, and you can find it anywhere in a pinch! We found ours at Paper Source.
