It is hard to believe that summer is almost over. The malicious school year is creeping around the corner, and soon we will have shorter days, brisker weather (well, I am praying!), and the care free summer attitude will be gone until next year.
Although it is HOT as…well, you know…here in Texas, we have really enjoyed this summer. The first full summer in our new home. The anticipation of a new niece about to arrive. A sweet new baby born to one of my dearest friends. Lots of early mornings and evenings in the pool.

Slowing down to take trips to see best friends over long weekends.
Summers in the south can be heavenly…despite the heat.
We especially enjoy summer evenings around the Hodges household. We love long summer evenings where our babies are playing, our bellies are full, and the wine bottles are empty. Hurry and get out there an enjoy it while you can!
