The Fourth of July is tomorrow, and I have rounded up some beautiful desserts — some simple and some more elaborate — for you.
Last Sunday, we hosted our monthly supper club (6 couples and 5 — soon to be 6! — kids). The plan is always to do something simple for dinner since the entire purpose of the supper club is to see everyone at least once a month. Our family really looks forward to it, and we love when it is our month to host. Mat and I did quick burgers, sweet potato fries, corn and grilled zucchini salad…and red velvet cake.
Everything was wonderful, but I wasn’t in love with my red velvet cake. It was good, but just not great. Not blog-worthy, in my opinion. 🙂 So, I have compiled a list of for you to try instead. I love using red and blue berries for any patriotic holiday; I think the berries add a bit of sophistication as opposed to blue and red food coloring. Please comment and let me know if any of these worked for you!
